I have made this letter longer than usual, only because I have not had time to make it shorter — Blaise Pascal This is a quote commonly quoted as coming from Mark Twain, but it was actually the mathematician Blaise Pascal. It is a relevant quote for me because it’s exactly how I feel about …
So it’s been a while. A long while. Life has a way of derailing promises, but better late than never. We’ll leave it at that. Now onto what I’m doing… I have recently did a major editing pass and rework of Soul Census, it is now live on Amazon in eBook, Paperback and Hardcover. I …
Hello readers! I realize it’s been a while since my last post, but as you can imagine, it’s been an ‘interesting’ 2020. I guess the one advantage of being locked down during this pandemic is it has forced me to refocus on my writing– something that I fear I have been neglecting. To that end, I …
Do not mistake my silence for lack of activity. 🙂 Aside from the usual distractions of life, I have been contributing to Book 2 of the War of Shadows series (the sequel to Soul Census.) As proof, I’ve decided to post snippets of the first two chapters for any hungry fans. Bear in mind that …
I was thinking recently about all of the artists I’ve known in my life– both friends and family. I was thinking today about people’s “taste” in things. It seems to me that if you have unique or eclectic tastes, that you might be blind to what “most” people enjoy. I struggle with this as a writer– or perhaps I should say, I am realizing I struggle with this as a writer. I mean– …
Hello there, reader. For the past few days I’ve been working on tweaking my web sites (I think I’m done for now) and doing some final touch-ups on Soul Census. I’ll be updating the manuscript on all the online retailers soon. No changes to story line or anything, just grammatical fixes. As I delve into …
